Images of sunsets over Poole Harbour were captured daily throughout winter 2007/8 using a number of publicly accessible web-cams. Colours were selected directly from the collected images to produce a sequence that represents three months of sunsets. The colour sequence was then translated back into light using LED’s forming a rolling wave of colour.
It was great to see such an inspiring installation on Poole Quay, all the better for being produced by an artist based in the South West. Let's see more like this, using the talents of local artists to revitalize Poole.
